Two Juveniles Hospitalized Following a Serious Accident in Burlington
BURLINGTON, NC - A news story posted on myfox8.com reports that the Burlington Police Department is currently investigating a two-vehicle accident in Burlington, North Carolina.* The accident occurred last Saturday morning at approximately 7:51 AM. Burlington Police Department officers responded to the area of Quintas Avenue and Maple Avenue.
The police officers concluded that speed was one of the key contributing factors to the accident. Both motorists were juveniles, and the teens were transported to two separate hospitals, and are they are both listed in stable medical condition.
The police officers believe the teens were street racing based on the physical evidence and witness statements. The two motor vehicles in the accident were totaled.
