LEXINGTON, NC - A news article published on usnews.com reports that two people were tragically killed following a head-on collision with a wrong-way driver on old U.S. Highway 52.* The North Carolina State Highway Patrol stated that a motor vehicle was heading northbound along old U.S. Highway 52 when the car crossed the road's centerline and drove northbound in the southbound traffic lane.
