CARY, NC - A new report published on abc11.com states that a man was arrested and charged with driving while impaired (DWI) after he caused a fatal accident that killed a motorcyclist in Cary, North Carolina.* According to Cary Police, a motorcyclist was tragically killed in a Tuesday evening accident by Maynard Road at Old Apex Road.
Law enforcement authorities stated that a motorcycle driven by a man with a woman passenger crashed with a vehicle. The male motorcyclist was tragically killed, and the woman was transported to the hospital.
According to the Cary Police, the driver of the car, identified as a 62-year-old man, was not hospitalized. The car's driver was arrested and charged with driving while impaired (DWI), felony death by vehicle, and felony causing serious injury by vehicle.
