Fatal Drunk Driving Motorcycle Accident in Cary, North Carolina (NC)

CARY, NC - A new report published on abc11.com states that a man was arrested and charged with driving while impaired (DWI) after he caused a fatal accident that killed a motorcyclist in Cary, North Carolina.*  According to Cary Police, a motorcyclist was tragically killed in a Tuesday evening accident by Maynard Road at Old Apex Road.

Law enforcement authorities stated that a motorcycle driven by a man with a woman passenger crashed with a vehicle. The male motorcyclist was tragically killed, and the woman was transported to the hospital.

According to the Cary Police, the driver of the car, identified as a 62-year-old man, was not hospitalized. The car's driver was arrested and charged with driving while impaired (DWI), felony death by vehicle, and felony causing serious injury by vehicle.

The names of the motorcyclist and his passenger have not been released to the public. The law enforcement officers are currently investigating the accident.
