Motorcycle Accident at the Intersection of Buffaloe Road and Capital Boulevard in Raleigh, North Carolina

RALEIGH, NC - A news report posted on abc11.com states that the Raleigh Police Department is investigating a motorcycle accident that occurred at the intersection of Buffaloe Road and Capital Boulevard in Raleigh, North Carolina.*

The overnight motorcycle and car accident severely injured the woman who was riding as a passenger. She was transported to a local area hospital for treatment of severe accident-related injuries.

Raleigh Police Department officers stated that the collision occurred at around 3 in the morning. The Raleigh Police, upon arrival at the accident scene, found the two people who had been traveling on the motorcycle lying on the ground. 

The Raleigh Police charged the 39-year-old with Felony Hit-and-run Causing Serious Injury, Driving Without an Operator's License, Driving While Impaired, and Reckless Driving.

The Northbound Capital Boulevard was shut down but later reopened at around 8:30 in the morning. The motorcycle accident is currently under investigation by the Raleigh Police.
