Tragic, Fatal Motorcycle Accident on Highway 9 near Spartanburg, South Carolina

Spartanburg County, S.C. - A news report published on wspa.com states that a motorcyclist was tragically killed.*  Another person was transported to a local area hospital following a motorcycle accident on Highway 9 near Spartanburg, South Carolina. According to the South Carolina highway patrol, the motorcycle accident occurred at approximately 6:15 in the evening along Highway 9 at Lilic Lane. I

According to the South Carolina highway patrol troopers, a jeep was trying to turn left onto Lilic Lane when it was struck by a motorcycle. The motorcyclist was not wearing a motorcycle helmet at the time of the accident, and he tragically died at the scene, the trooper stated. 

The Spartanburg County Coroner's Office identified the motorcycle accident victim as a 29-year-old man. The Jeep's driver was transported to Spartanburg medical center for treatment of their Accident-related injuries. South Carolina Highway Patrol's multi-disciplinary accident investigation team is currently handling the fatal motorcycle accident investigation. No other details were provided at this time. No names of the victims are those involved in the accident were made public.
