22-year-old Tragically Killed in an 18-Wheeler Tractor-Trailer Accident in Lincoln County, North Carolina (NC)

CHARLOTTE, NC - A news story published on WBTV.com reports that a  driver was tragically killed in a collision with an 18-wheeler tractor-trailer truck in Lincoln County, North Carolina.* The collision occurred last Monday afternoon.

According to the news report, the fatal accident occurred at around 3:35 PM on NC 18 by NC 27.  The North Carolina Highway Patrol stated that a 22-year-old woman was driving in her Honda Accord, and she attempted to turn left on NC 18.  As she attempted to make the turn, she collided with a tractor-trailer truck. 

The North Carolina Highway Patrol Troopers are investigating the fatal auto accident.  The victim, a 22-year-old woman, tragically passed away at the scene of the accident.  The truck driver was not injured.  The North Carolina Highway Patrol Troopers stated that no charges were expected.
