Fatal Head-on Accident in China Grove, North Carolina

CHINA GROVE, NC - A news story published on salisburypost.com reports that one person was tragically killed, dead, and several people were injured in a two-car collision on Lentz Road in China Grove, North Carolina. 

One of the cars was carrying three people and heading northbound on Lentz Road when the car, for an unknown reason, crossed the center line and colliding head-on with a pickup truck that was moving in the opposite direction.  The truck has two occupants.  The North Carolina Highway Patrol reacted to the fatal crash at approximately 3:15 p.m.

The car stopped along the road's shoulder and then caught on fire. The car's driver was tragically killed, and they were pronounced deceased at the accident scene.

Several of the passengers were transported to the hospital.  The Rowan Rescue, Kannapolis Fire, Landis Fire,  and China Grove Police all responded to the severe motor vehicle accident.  The North Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
