An Accident with Injuries along I-77 Southbound in Fairfield County, South Carolina

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, SC - According to wltx.com, an early morning accident along interstate 77 southbound closed several traffic lanes for two hours.*  According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the interstate 77 southbound accident occurred at approximately 6:40 in the morning.

The accident's location was reported as being along I-77 southbound, about 2 miles south of exit 46. However, 511sc.org stated the motor vehicle accident's exact location is 2 miles north of the road 41 Old River Road in Winnsboro by Exit 41. The news report also states that the accident involves multiple injuries.
