Fatal Accident at N. Fourth Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway in Wilmington, North Carolina (NC)

WILMINGTON, NC - According to an accident report on wwaytv3.com, the Wilmington Police Department Traffic Unit is currently investigating a crash that caused a 34-year-old man's death in Wilmington, North Carolina.*

At approximately 2:50 p.m., Wilmington Police officers answered the call to an accident located down in an embankment between Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway and N. Fourth Street.  The callers stated that a car was involved in an accident and was overturned in a ditch. The driver was pronounced deceased when EMS arrived.

The Wilmington Police Department Traffic Unit stated that the department offers its deepest condolences to the people who are affected by the tragic accident.  The accident is currently under investigation.
