Collision Tragically Kills One, Injures Three on Route 360 in Charlotte County, North Carolina (NC)

CHARLOTTE, NC- Wsls.com writes that a crash killed one man in Charlotte County this week. The incident occurred overnight on Route 360 close to Route 710.*

According to reports, the vehicle involved was a 2006 Toyota Camry that was speeding when it veered off the left side of the roadway before the motorist overcorrected and drove off the right side, causing the car to roll over before crashing into an embankment. The individual driving the car sustained injuries and was transported to the VCU Medical Center located in Richmond. The driver, who was identified as a woman from Danville, was transported via airlift with severe injuries. One of the passengers, identified as a 25-year-old man from North Carolina, was ejected in the incident and died at the scene of the wreck. Another woman was also a passenger in the car at the time, and she suffered severe injuries and was transported to the hospital via airlift as well. A man from Danville who was in the car and sustained injuries was transported to the Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital. Police stated that the crash is still being investigated. 

Rollover crashes are severe incidents that often result in death. In fact, close to one out of every three deadly collisions is caused by a rollover.
