Crash Involving Amazon Truck Litters Highway with Packages in North Carolina
IREDELL COUNTY, NC - Kiro7.com writes that packages spilled across the ground after a truck was involved in a crash on Interstate 77. The incident occurred in the early morning in the northbound lanes. Police shut the roadway down for hours while crews worked to clear the scene. Many of the packages were collected and transferred to another truck. Images show backed up traffic on the road making its way through the one open lane.*

Drivers can reduce their risks of being in these types of collisions by giving other vehicles space on the road and remaining alert at the wheel.
