Crash Injures Three in Silver Valley, North Carolina

SILVER VALLEY, NC- The-dispatch.com writes that three people sustained injuries in an afternoon crash that took place earlier this week. The injuries were all described as non-life-threatening.*

Reports indicate that three vehicles were involved in the wreck, but the information pertaining to causation is conflicting. 

Based on witness statements at the scene, either a White Ford Ranger, or a Red Chevrolet SUV ran a stop sign at the intersection, causing a collision that then led to one of the vehicles hitting a third car, a Black Ford Escape, that was stopped on Old U.S. Highway 64 facing eastbound. 

The officers still need to speak to the drivers of the vehicles in order to determine who was at fault in the accident.

The drivers involved were all taken by ambulance to either the Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center of the Novant Health Thompsonville Medical Center for treatment.
