Fatal Hit-and-Run Accident on Interstate 65 in Nashville, Tennessee
NASHVILLE, TN – According to an online news report at fox17.com, the Goodlettsville Police Department have positively identified the victim of a hit-and-run accident.*
The victim, a woman, aged 37, from Portland, Tennessee, was struck by a silver Honda after she jumped the median and started to run down Interstate 65 going in a northbound direction. The vehicle that hit the woman is believed to have damage to the driver’s side mirror. Witnesses of the accident state that the driver was going at an excessive rate of speed at the time of the crash.
