Wreck on Atomic Rd. in Aiken County, South Carolina, Causes One Fatality, Multiple Injuries
AIKEN COUNTY, SC. – According to a news article published online at wjbf.com, a vehicle wreck that occurred on Atomic Road in Aiken County, South Carolina, caused one fatality and multiple injuries. The accident reportedly involved only one vehicle, and authorities are still investigating the crash.*
The accident happened late in the evening, near the intersection of Old Nail Road and Atomic Road in Beech Island, Aiken County, South Carolina. South Carolina Highway Patrol and WJBF report that shortly before 10 p.m., a vehicle was traveling in the area and somehow veered into the median. The vehicle then rolled multiple times before coming to a stop. The make and model of the vehicle were not listed in the report.
It is not yet clear what caused the accident. The news article states that the driver of the vehicle had been traveling at a high rate of speed and somehow lost control.
