Tragic Train Accident in Mobile, Alabama Kills Three People

MOBILE, AL – According to an online news report at whnt.com, officials note that three people have perished in an SUV accident where it fell from an overpass off-ramp and was, as a result, hit by a train in Mobile, Alabama.*

A sports utility vehicle was hit by a train after it fell from an overpass-off ramp.  A female passenger in the front seat noticed the train approaching and was not able to free herself from the SUV before being stuck close to 5 am on Sunday, April 28, 2019.  The SUV driver was ejected from the vehicle and succumbed to his or her injuries. Two men in the back seat of the vehicle were found dead as a result of the accident.  

The accident remains under investigation.  The names of the deceased individuals have not been released as the next of kin remain to be reached.  There are no further details on the accident at this time.
