Man Seriously Injured in Vape Accident, Shares Story on Social Media

United States – According to an online news report from technology.inquirier.net, a man is seriously injured after a vape pen explodes in his face.

An Idaho man lost several teeth and suffered several burns to his face following a vape pen rupture that occurred in front of the man’s face.

The man was just about to go to work when he asserts that his vape pen exploded in his face, causing serious burns to his cheek and significant damage to seven of his teeth.  As a result of the explosion, his bathroom, which is where the explosion occurred, was badly damaged.  Specifically, the sink and walls were burned during the bathroom explosion.  

To warn other vape enthusiasts as to the potential harms associated with vaping, he made his story known on a social media website on Sunday, January 15, 2019.

 “I’ve been doing this for about a year now and assure you I did not do anything I wasn’t supposed to, but it exploded in my face. I’ve lost at least 7 teeth, 2nd degree burns to face and neck and has been pulling chunks of plastic, teeth and foreign objects from mouth, throat, and lips,” the man noted in an online posting. “I was lucky and there was a huge amount of damage to the room in my house I was in as well,” he added.
