United States - according to a news story from, President Donald Trump issued an emergency order to ground all Boeing 737 Max 8 and 9 aircraft following the Ethiopian Airlines Plane crash.

Recently, Canada ordered the grounding of all Boeing 737 Max plans, which put increasing pressure on the United States to change its position on the airplanes just a couple of days following the Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302, which crashed and resulted in the death of all passengers on board.

Currently, at least two hundred seventy one Boeing Max planes that had been in service are now grounded, according to  At this time, three hundred and eighty five Max aircraft were delivered, with three hundred forty four being the Max 8 type.

Hong Kong, Egypt, New Zealand, and Lebanon have recently joined several other countries on Wednesday, March 12, 2019, in issuing a ban of all Boeing Max airplanes from their airports as an added safety measure.  Numerous other countries, carriers and authorities have suspended, temporarily, the Max 8 model and other similar models in that range.

The Ethiopian Airlines Boeing Max 8 crashed into a field shortly after departing from Addis Ababa’s Bole International Airport on Sunday, March 10, 2019, causing the death of the one hundred fifty seven people who were on board.

It has been reported that a pilot of the Ethiopian Airlines flight indicated that there were problems with flight control and requested to return to the airport.

While the investigation continues regarding finding the cause of the disaster, some experts in the aviation industry are indicating that there may be similarities between the recent crash to that which occurred last October over the Java Sea in Indonesia, which resulted in the death of all one hundred eighty nine people on board.
