Crawford County Man Tragically Killed in Farming Accident in Roberta, Georgia (GA)

ROBERTA, GA - A news story posted on 41nbc.com reports that a man from Crawford County, Georgia, was tragically killed in a farming accident on Friday.*

The Crawford County Sheriff's Office answered a call regarding a farm accident with injuries located at a farm off of Jackson Road.

Crawford County Sheriff Lewis Walker stated that when Sheriff's deputies entered the accident scene, they discovered a 79-year-old man, and the man was unresponsive.

The man was later pronounced deceased at the scene of the farm accident by Crawford County Coroner Kenneth Winslett.

Law enforcement officials stated that a Bobcat skid steer caused the man's fatal injuries.  The accident is currently under investigation by law enforcement.  It was not reported if OSHA would join the investigation or not.
