Montlick & Associates' Athlete of the Week: Week 2

October 31, 2011

Montlick & Associates, Attorneys at Law honors Mason Hart of South Gwinnett High School as the Montlick & Associates Athlete of the Week September 2, 2011. The student athlete from Snellville, Georgia took the reins as starting quarterback one week before the season opener when projected starter, Jordan Rainey, broke his arm in a preseason scrimmage. Hart proudly made the move from the Comets starting safety to quarterback. He said he can be a vocal leader but isn't afraid to let his actions on the field do the talking either. "I can do both. I like to be vocal on and off the field, and make sure that my guys are focused on everything and ready to go," says Hart. A strong lineage of quarterbacks has come through South Gwinnett over the last decade, and Hart is proud to be the next in line.

The Montlick & Associates Athlete of the Week is featured on WSB-TV's Friday night Sports Zone program in Atlanta, Georgia.
