Florida Woman Hospitalized After Car Strikes her in Crosswalk
FORT WALTON BEACH, FL- Nwfdailynews.com writes that an 86-year-old woman driving a 2016 Altima RLX struck a woman who was attempting to cross the road. Reports indicate that the victim was in a crosswalk and had the right-of-way when the driver hit her, knocking her onto the pavement.*
The victim is a 56-year-old woman from Fort Walton Beach. Responders rushed her to the hospital following the crash.
According to reports, the driver was traveling on Mooney Road and trying to make a left turn onto Racetrack Road when she hit the victim.
Police cited the driver for violating the pedestrian’s right-of-way.
