OSCEOLA, FL. – According to an online news story reported at, a woman tragically died in a head-on crash that occurred on Osceola Polk Line Road in Osceola, Florida. It appears the collision happened when a vehicle attempted to pass traffic using the opposite-bound lane of travel, and three vehicles ended up crashing.*

The crash occurred late in the afternoon, close to Shady Oak Drive on Osceola Polk Line Road. Florida Highway Patrol and the Osceola News-Gazette report that shortly before 5 p.m., a 2019 Tesla (model not reported) was traveling west on the roadway and moved into the eastbound lane in order to pass slower westbound traffic.
