Accident Involving State Trooper Leaves Two Hospitalized in Northwest Miami-Dade
MIAMI-DADE, FL- Wsvn.com writes that a crash took place on Interstate 95, causing traffic delays and sending two people to the hospital. Based on reports from the Florida Highway Patrol, the incident took place a little before 6 in the evening in Northwest Miami-Dade.*
A state trooper had pulled off into the express lanes and was handling a separate incident with another driver when an approaching vehicle struck the police car. The express lanes were both shut down along with two of the other lanes.
The state trooper was not harmed in the accident, but two other individuals were hurt and were transported to a nearby hospital for medical care. The condition of the two injured persons is not known at this time.
