Over 38,000 Selfie Craft Company Pajama Sets Recalled Due to Burn Risks

According to a child safety report published on FoxBusiness.com, nearly 40,000 sets of children's pajama sets have been recalled after the products failed to meet federal flammability standards.

The recalled children's pajamas were manufactured by Selfie Craft Company and were sold on Macy's website and on Etsy. According to the safety recall notice published by the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the recall report claims that the pajamas were recalled due to fears that the products pose a burn injury risk to children.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission warned parents to "immediately take the recalled pajama sets away from children" and get in touch with the Selfie Craft Company. The pajama sets are described as being a two-piece set consisting of long sleeve shirts and pant pajamas. The recalled pajama sets were made of 95% polyester and 5% elasthane, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission recall notice. 

The affected pajama sets were sold for kids who are between the ages of 3 and 12, and there are about 26 different design patterns. The recalled pajamas were sold in seven different permanent fabric pens and had a label with the following text printed on them, "Colour In Creative Craft Kit, Crafty Fun, British Design With Love." 

The recalled pajama sets were manufactured in Bangladesh and in the U.K. The pajama sets were sold on many online marketplaces, such as elfiecraft.co.uk, Macys.com, and Etsy.com. The affected pajama sets were also retailed at clothing boutiques nationwide from November 2017 until June 2022. 

According to the recall notice, customers should destroy the recalled pajama set by cutting them in half vertically and then request a full refund when submitting a photo of the destroyed pajama set to Selfie Craft Company. Selfie Craft Company will also be contacting all known customers who purchased the product through their website.
