SUV Rear-Ends Golf Cart in Telfair County, Georgia
TELFAIR COUNTY, GA. – According to an online news story from 41nbc.com, and SUV rear-ended a golf cart in Telfair County, Georgia. The collision resulted in one death and serious injuries to another person, according to the news story.*
The crash happened on February 23 sometime during the evening. Georgia State Patrol and 41 NBC report that a golf cart was traveling north on Long Bridge Road in Telfair County, when a northbound SUV ran into the back of the golf cart. Upon impact, the SUV and the golf cart traveled into the ditch, and the SUV ran over the golf cart, according to Georgia State Patrol and 41 NBC.
Troopers said that both occupants of the golf cart were ejected during the crash, and both sustained serious injuries. The news report from 41 NBC states that Georgia State Patrol confirmed one of the occupants of the golf cart died at the scene. The other occupant was reportedly taken to a hospital in Macon, Georgia, for treatment.
