Tragically, Twenty People Have Been Killed in Car Accidents in Georgia During the 4th of July Weekend
ATLANTA, GEORGIA - According to an online accident news report on wsbtv.com, there have been at least twenty people who have tragically died in car accidents over the 4th of July Holiday Weekend in Georgia, the Georgia Department of Public Safety reported.
The report also states that at least eight fatal accidents transpired in the metro Atlanta area including in Bartow, Cherokee, Cobb, Douglas, Polk, and DeKalb counties.
The news report on wsbtv.com states that a Marietta man was tragically struck and killed in a hit-and-run crash on Austell Road in Cobb County. That crash occurred at approximately two in the morning. The news article also reports that two additional people were tragically killed this morning. One passenger in a vehicle that was carrying nine people was tragically killed when the driver lost control of the vehicle along I-20 in DeKalb County. Another person in that crash was critically injured. The report stated that a different driver tragically died in a crash.
