Raleigh Police Department Asks Motorists to Call 911 and Report Aggressive Driving

RALEIGH, NC - A news report posted on states that a viral video shows an "aggressive driver" passing other vehicles along the shoulder of Interstate 540.* According to the news report, a Tesla vehicle captured the vehicle traveling west on I-540 close to the Six Forks Road exit. The aggressive driver nearly caused several accidents. 

The Tesla owner shared the video with the police in order to help them make an arrest in the case.  

The North Carolina State Highway Patrol stated that their officers would review the issue and video. The North Carolina State Highway Patrol is asking motorists to contact 911 or local law enforcement or any of their North Carolina State Highway Patrol sub-stations "in real-time" when situations such as these happen. 

The North Carolina State Highway Patrol also reminded travelers to call *HP if they witness dangerous driving and never chase after these hazardous drivers.
