Severe Motorcycle Accident at the Intersection of Victory Drive and Bulloch Street in Savannah, Georgia

SAVANNAH, GA - A news story posted on reports that the Savannah Police Department's Traffic Investigation Unit is investigating a motorcycle accident at the intersection of Victory Drive and Bulloch Street.*

The intersection was temporarily shut down as accident first responders and law enforcement worked the accident scene. Law enforcement officials stated that the accident involves another motor vehicle. 

According to Savannah Police Department, their officers discovered the victims at the accident sustained injuries. The Traffic Investigation Unit continues to investigate the accident. The investigators stated that a 58-year-old man from Savannah is suffering from severe injuries after a motorcycle accident with a motor vehicle along Victory Drive.

According to an investigation by Savannah Police Department's Traffic Investigation Unit, the motor vehicle driver was traveling southbound along Bulloch Street at around 12:50 in the afternoon when she crossed the intersection and into the path of the oncoming motorcycle. The motorcycle was unable to stop and then crashed into the car. He was thrown from his motorcycle. The motorcyclist was taken to a local area hospital for medical treatment.
