Pedestrian Tragically Dies in Marshall County Accident in Guntersville, Alabama

GUNTERSVILLE, AL – According to an online news report at whnt.com, a pedestrian tragically died in a Marshall County accident over the weekend.*

A trooper with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency indicated that the pedestrian, a 34-year-old man from Grant, Alabama, died after being struck by a Toyota 4Runner in the nighttime hours on United States Highway 431 at mile marker 303.  Where the accident occurred is located two miles north of Guntersville, Alabama.

According to the Marshall County Coroner’s Office, the county coroner was dispatched to the accident and confirmed that the 34-year-old had died at the scene.  Per authorities, the driver of the Toyota did not sustain any injuries. The Coroner’s Office received assistance from the Guntersville Police, Alabama State Troopers, as well as the Guntersville Fire Department.
