Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle in Warner Robins, Georgia
WARNER ROBINS, GA – According to an online news report at 13wmaz.com, a 29-year-old woman is listed as in “extreme critical condition” after being struck by a vehicle earlier this week in Warner Robins, Georgia.*
Per the Warner Robins Police Department, the accident occurred on North Davis Drive at Vicki Drive in the early morning hours. The police indicate that a woman was going across the roadway heading westbound on North Davis Drive. She was not using a crosswalk. A man, aged 49, from Macon, Georgia was operating a 2014 Ford Fusion going southbound on North Davis Drive when he struck the woman as she was walking in the roadway. The chief of police indicates that the woman was transported to a local hospital where she is being treated for her injuries. She is listed as in extreme critical condition at this time.
The department says the woman was crossing the road westbound on North Davis Drive outside of a crosswalk. A 49-year-old Macon driver in a 2014 Ford Fusion was traveling south on the inside lane of North Davis Drive when he hit her in the road.
Charges have not yet been filed in this case. The accident remains under investigation by the local police. There are no further details on the accident at this time.
