Female Pedestrian Perishes in United States Highway 301 Accident n Tampa, Florida
TAMPA, FL – According to an online news report at fox13news.com, a fatal accident claimed the life of a female pedestrian. The accident occurred along United States Highway 301, per the Florida Highway Patrol.*
A deadly accident resulted in the death of a pedestrian on United States Highway 301. The accident occurred in the late night hours earlier this week, as provided by the Florida Highway Patrol. According to investigators, a 43-year-old male driver from Pennsylvania was going southbound on United States Highway 301, approaching Interstate 4. Troopers state that a pedestrian, a 20-year-old woman from Pinellas Park, Florida, was walking in a northerly direction on the outside lane of United States Highway 301. This is the same lane that the vehicle was traveling in. Troopers note that the driver didn’t see the pedestrian in his path and hit into her as a result. The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital where she later died. Her identity has not yet been released to the public.
According to troopers, it does not appear that the driver was impaired at the time of the crash. Charges have not been filed at this time. There are no further details on the accident. The crash remains under investigation by the local police.
