Three Vehicle Accident Accident Injures Two in Fruitland Park, Florida
FRUITLAND PARK, FL – According to an online news report from villages-news.com, two individuals were taken to an area hospital earlier this week as a result of a multi-vehicle accident that occurred in Fruitland Park.*
Two people sustained injuries in a three-vehicle accident and were transported to a local hospital by emergency personnel. The accident occurred at the intersection of Shiloh Street and Dixie Avenue in Fruitland Park, Florida.
The Fruitland Park Police responded to the scene of the accident. The accident involved a woman who is her twenties. She was driving a 2005 Nissan where she pulled from Shiloh Street onto Dixie Avenue right in front of cars traveling both northbound and southbound.
Two people were transported to area hospitals by crews from Lake EMS early Monday morning following a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of Dixie Avenue and Shiloh Street in Fruitland Park. The other drivers involved in the accident had a 1996 Toyota and a 2011 Chevrolet sedan. They all collided, resulting in injuries two to of the drivers. They were taken to an area hospital for treatment.
The accident caused medical personnel and police officers to scramble since they were responding to another multi-vehicle crash at the corner of County Road 446A and United States Highway 27/441. One of the victims was taken by medical helicopter to an area hospital for treatment.
There are no further details on the accident at this time. The crash remains under investigation by the local police.
