Phenix City Police Investigating Bus Crash Resulting in Serious Injuries
PHENIX CITY, AL – According to an online news report at wrbl.com, a bus accident occurred on Alabama Highway 165, leaving one seriously injured.*
A driver of a Ford Focus hit into a Phenix City School District bus, causing this individual to sustain serious injuries. They were transported by medical helicopter to an area hospital for treatment. No students on the bus sustained injuries. They nonetheless were taken to a local emergency room for evaluation. The driver of the Ford Focus was going southbound on Alabama Highway 165 when the school bus pulled onto the highway coming from Misty Forrest Drive.
