CITRUS COUNTY, FL. – According to a news story reported online at chronicleonline.com, a motorcyclist was injured in a traffic collision that occurred on County Road 486 in Citrus County, Florida. It appears the accident involved a rear-end crash, and Florida Highway Patrol is managing the case investigation.*

The accident occurred during the late evening close to Citrus Hills Boulevard on County Road 486. Florida Highway Patrol and the Citrus County Chronicle report that around 9:30 p.m., a 2009 Honda motorcycle (model not reported) was traveling west on the roadway and ended up running into the back of a 2005 Lincoln Aviator. Troopers say that the Lincoln had reduced its speed because of traffic ahead.
