Tragic Paragliding Accident Kills One on Florida Lake
TAVARES, FL – According to online news reports at wptv.com and wkyt.com, a man died in a paragliding accident in Lake County, Florida earlier this week. The accident occurred on Lake Beauclair in Tavares, Florida.*
A paraglider is dead after crashing into a Florida lake. Witnesses indicate that they could see the paraglider spinning out of control prior to hitting the lake. The paraglider’s body was ultimately recovered by rescue boats. Two other gliders were riding along side of the deceased. They landed safely on an area golf course. There are no further details on the accident at this time. The crash remains under investigation by the local police.
