Vehicle Accident Closes U.S. 41 Near State Road 70 in Bradenton, Florida

BRADENTON, FL. – According to a news story reported online at, a vehicle accident closed all of U.S. Highway 41 near Bradenton, Florida. No details about the accident itself were included in the news report, so it is not clear how the accident took place or if anyone sustained injuries.*

The accident happened during the late evening close to State Road 70 on U.S. 41 in Bradenton. Florida Highway Patrol and the Bradenton Herald state that at about 9:30 p.m., authorities were called to the scene due to reports of a vehicle crash. It is not clear how many vehicles were involved in the collision or what kinds of vehicles were involved, as no vehicle count or vehicle descriptions were included in the news report. 

The report did not say how the accident occurred or in what way it occurred. It is unclear how the vehicle or vehicles ended up crashing, and authorities did not immediately identify any factors that might have been involved in the crash. 

The Bradenton Herald did not say whether anyone was injured in the accident, and the report did not identify anyone involved. The news story did not provide information about whether paramedics responded to the site of the collision. It is unclear how many people were involved in the crash in total. 

It is unclear what side of the highway the accident happened on, but both sides were shut down in response to the collision. The Bradenton Herald states that the entire highway was shut down for two hours while crews investigated and cleared the area. All of the lanes were back open at approximately 11:30 p.m.
