Multi-Vehicle Wreck Shuts Down Stretch of I-77 in Charlotte, North Carolina
CHARLOTTE, NC. – According to an online news report posted at wbtv.com, a multi-vehicle wreck shut down a stretch of Interstate 77 in Charlotte, North Carolina. The accident reportedly resulted in injuries to six people. The injured persons have not been identified, and authorities are working to determine how the crash happened.*
The accident happened during the afternoon close to the exit to Tyvola Road on I-77. The Charlotte Fire Department and WBTV report that several vehicles were somehow involved in an accident in the area on the southbound side of the interstate. It is not clear how many vehicles were involved in the crash or what types of vehicles were involved.
