Woman Injured in Apparent Vehicle Accident on Duke Street in Durham, North Carolina
DURHAM, NC. – According to a news report posted online at cbs17.com, a woman was injured in an apparent vehicle accident that occurred on Duke Street in Durham, North Carolina. The events of the accident have not yet been established, and little information about the collision was included in the news report.*
The accident happened in the early evening at the crossing of Duke Street with Englewood Avenue. The Durham Police Department and CBS 17 report that at about 5:30 p.m., authorities received a call about a vehicle collision taking place at the intersection. Officers were dispatched to the area and arrived to find a person injured and lying beside the road.
Initially, officers were not sure how the person had been injured, but they concluded after investigation that she had sustained injuries in the traffic accident about which they had received an emergency call.
