The news report states that the Chevy driver, a man from Marietta, told officers after the crash that he had been drinking. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that his blood alcohol level was between .138 and .158. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution further reports that he was recently indicted by a Cobb County grand jury on charges of first-degree vehicular homicide, first-degree feticide, and driving without a valid driver’s license.
