One Person is Hospitalized After I-70 Rear-End Collision in Kansas
SALINA, KANSAS – As reported online by salinapost.com, a Florida man was hospitalized for injuries following a rear-end collision on I-70 in Kansas.*
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 71-year-old Blountstown, Florida man was hospitalized for injuries resulting from an accident on westbound I-70 in Kansas just west of Salina. The accident happened in the early afternoon when the 71-year-old man’s 2009 Chevy Silverado rear-ended a 2019 Freightliner semi-truck driven by a 58-year-old Eufaula, Alabama man.
The semi-truck driver and his passenger did not sustain any injuries in the accident. Both drivers involved in the accident were reportedly wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident. No additional details about the cause of the accident have been released by the Kansas Highway Patrol.
