Officer from Clayton County involved in a Multi-Vehicle Accident in Riverdale, Georgia
RIVERDALE, GA — According to an online news report at news-daily.com, an officer from the Clayton County Police Department is involved in a three car accident while on the way to a priority one emergency.*
A police officer is involved in an accident that occurred on Georgia Highway 85 and Bethsaida Road, which is close to the Walmart where Bethsaida Road turns into Lamar Hutchinson Boulevard. Per the Clayton County Police Department, a minivan slammed into the police officer’s vehicle as he was going across the intersection. The patrol vehicle then spun out into oncoming traffic where he collided head-on with another automobile
All three of the drivers involved in the accident did not sustain serious injuries in the crash. The officer who was in the accident has not been identified by the police at this time. The accident remains under investigation by local police. There are no further details on the accident.
