“No Justice, No Peace!” Mother Mourns Death of Her Son Involved in Bicycle Accident

DOUGLAS, GA – According to an online news report at, a mother is mourning the loss of her son that was killed in a bicycle accident in Douglas, Georgia.*

The mother of a 25 year old man is seeking answers regarding the death of her son. ″I’ll never get to see my son again. No Christmas, no birthdays, he always came on Mother’s Day. No matter what I asked him to do, he did," said the mother.

According to the local police, police and emergency personnel were called to the scene of an accident in the Oak Park subdivision late involving a vehicle and a bicycle.  The man, aged 25, was taken to an area hospital where he later died from his injuries.  

Less than two days later, a vigil was held in the community to remember the twenty five year old who left a significant amount behind following his passing.  

The man left behind a baby who will never see his loving dad every again.  The twenty five year old was known loving and “caring, caring dad,” per the grandmother of the man’s son.

The family of the twenty five year old is stating that they will miss him, as he was also a loving uncle in addition to a brother, son, and father.

Many people who attended the vigil brought pictures of the deceased biker.  According to the online report, “[s]ome of those included representatives from the Coffee County NAACP branch and Justice League United. They said they were marching for justice and want answers in Johnson’s death.”

“No justice, no peace! No justice, no peace! No justice, no peace,” attendants of the vigil shouted as they marched. They want answers to find out about how the accident occurred and for the police to conduct a deeper investigation.  The Georgia State Patrol is currently conducting an investigation of the accident. There are no further details on the accident at this time.
