Bicyclist Dies in Tragic Bicycle Accident in Douglas, Georgia

DOUGLAS, GA – According to an online news report at walb.com, a 25 year old male bicyclist was struck by a car in Douglas, Georgia late last week, per the Coffee County coroner.*

A 25 year old cyclist died as a result of his injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Douglas, Georgia late last week.  The man was hit by a vehicle in the Oak Park subdivision.  The coroner notes that the man was transported to a local hospital where he later died.  An autopsy was not performed due to the obvious nature of his injuries.    

There are no further details on the accident at this time.  The crash remains under investigation by the local police.
