Early Morning Crash Leaves One Dead in Glynn County
GLYNN COUNTY, GA – According to an online news report at wsav.com, a person has died after a pickup truck crashed into a dump truck.
One person perished after a collision that occurred between a pickup truck and a dump truck. The accident occurred on Interstate 95 close to mile marker 35 north early in the morning. Per the Georgia State Patrol, a man driving the pickup truck did not maintain his lane and slammed into the dump trick. The dump truck driver, as a result of the impact of the crash, lost control of his vehicle and hit into a barricade. The dump truck then rested on its side, which caused the driver to be ejected from the vehicle. The driver of the dump truck died as a result of his injuries. The driver of the pickup truck sustained minor injuries in the crash and was arrested for possibly driving while intoxicated.
There are no further details on the accident at this time. The crash remains under investigation by the local police.
