Determining Fault in a Car Accident
Finding out who is to blame for causing a car accident can be extremely difficult, especially when law enforcement officials must work backward. The aftermath of a car accident does not always tell the entire story. As such, an extensive analysis of the accident scene, along with witness statements are crucial to putting the pieces back together. Along with law enforcement officials, insurance companies aggressively seek to determine the cause of an accident, as they may be responsible for paying out on insurance claims or defending an at-fault driver in court. in some cases, fault may be apportioned between multiple parties.
