Ten Vehicle Pileup Causes Traffic Delays in Fairburn, Georgia
FAIRBURN, GA – According to an online news report at 11alive.com, local law enforcement officers are currently conducting an investigation of a ten car accident in Fairburn, Georgia that caused a major traffic standstill earlier this week.*
A ten-car pileup caused traffic to be at a standstill for several hours earlier this week. Traffic was able to move again after several hours of wreckage cleanup. The accident was on Interstate 85 southbound close to the Fairburn exit of the highway. All southerly lanes were blocked, as shown by the Georgia Department of Transportation’s traffic camera.
Law enforcement officers are investigating a 10-vehicle crash in Fairburn that left traffic at a standstill Monday.
Traffic is moving again after the Fairburn Police Department said there was accident was on I-85 South, just south of the Fairburn exit.
All southbound lanes were blocked and Georgia Department of Transportation cameras showed traffic backed up for miles.
