According to state troopers, a tour bus collided into the side of a Jeep Liberty that did not stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Highway 59 and Knox Bridge Road. Two minors in the Jeep were transported to a local hospital for treatment. The driver of the tour bus, a seventy six year old man from Pendleton, Georgia perished in the crash. An eighteen year old passenger in the Jeep also perished in the crash due to the force of the impact. The eighteen year old was on the way to Panama City to visit with her grandmother, according to the local coroner.
