Two People Tragically Die and Three are Injured Following Accident with a Bus in Hart County

HART COUNTY, GA – According to an online news report at, two people tragically died and three sustained injuries following an accident with a bus in Hart County over the weekend.*

The crash involved a charter bus and a sports utility vehicle.  According to emergency personnel, the accident occurred at Knox Bridge Road and Highway 59 early in the morning.  

As a result of the accident, three people were taken to the hospital where they are being treated for their injuries. Their current status remains unknown at this time.

According to the local coroner’s office, the two people that died are a man, aged seventy-six from Pendleton Georgia, and a woman, aged eighteen, who was on her way to Panama City with her grandmother.  As a result of the accident, the roadway was blocked for several hours while emergency crews worked the scene.  

There are no further details on the accident at this time.  The crash remains under investigation by police.
