Injury-Causing Car Accident Reported on State Road 535 in Orange County, Florida
ORANGE COUNTY, FL. – According to a news report posted online at fox35orlando.com, an injury-causing vehicle accident was reported to have occurred on State Road 535 in Orange County, Florida. Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the wreck and reports that two vehicles were involved.*
The accident occurred in the early morning hours on an unknown stretch of State Road 535. No mile marker or cross street was named in the report to indicate the specific location of the accident. Troopers and Fox 35 state that two vehicles somehow collided in the roadway, and one of them overturned. This occurred around 3:30 a.m.
The makes and models of the two vehicles were not included in the news report. However, photos taken at the scene and posted to the Fox 35 website seem to indicate that at least one of the vehicles was a light-colored SUV. The SUV is pictured lying on its driver’s side with extensive damage to the passenger’s side.
Fox 35 reports that authorities did not say how many people were involved in the accident or how many people sustained injuries. The report says only that “several” people sustained injuries and required emergency transport to nearby hospitals for treatment. They were not identified, and the extent of their injuries was not provided in the report.
The cause of the crash had not yet been determined at the time the Fox 35 report was published online. Florida Highway Patrol is still in the process of investigating. The accident scene reportedly took about two hours to clear.
