One Person Tragically Dies in Motorcycle-Truck Accident
COLUMBUS, GA – According to an online news report at wtvm.com, an individual tragically died following an accident involving a motorcyclist and a pickup truck.*
One person is dead following a motorcycle accident on Veterans Parkway in Columbus, Georgia. Per the Muscogee County Chief Deputy Coroner, he has confirmed that a fifty six year old man who was the rider of a motorcycle perished as a result of the crash.
Per law enforcement authorities, the crash involved a motorcyclist and a driver of a Ford F-150 truck. The accident occurred close to the intersection of Talbotton Road and Veterans Parkway.
Due to the extent of the motorcyclist’s injuries, he was transported to a local hospital where he subsequently died.
During the investigation of the accident, police had to block off a section of the 1800 block of Veterans Parkway due to the accident. The motorcyclist’s body is expected to undergo an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
There are no further details on the accident at this time. The crash remains under investigation by the local police.
