Tragic Log Truck Accident Leaves Trucker Dead in Ramseur, North Carolina

RAMSEUR, NC — According to an online news report at wfmynews2.com, the North Carolina Highway Patrol confirms that a driver of a log truck succumbed to his injuries following an accident in Ramseur, North Carolina earlier this week.*

The accident occurred on Parks Crossroads Church Road close to Old Silver City Road in the early afternoon.

According to the police, a male truck driver veered off of the roadway, causing his truck to overturn.  Logs came loose from the truck and were scattered onto the shoulder and roadway.  The tractor trailer then stopped in the road.  The man who was driving the truck, aged sixty five, died as a result of the accident.  He was from Moncure, North Carolina.
